We are Mel and Craig, the proud owners of Bella Cosa, a collection of three charming cottages in the heart of McLaren Vale.
Our Roots
I, Mel, grew up right here in Adelaide, and I have fond memories of exploring the Fleurieu Peninsula. Those weekends spent in cabins and beach shacks left an indelible mark on me, igniting a deep love for this beautiful region.
My career led me to Sydney, where I met Craig. Together, we embarked on exciting adventures, living not just in Sydney but also in London, and exploring Europe extensively. Our shared love for travel enriched our lives and broadened our horizons.
Family Adventures
Our love story took a new turn with the arrival of our two boys. Undeterred by parenthood, we continued our global explorations, taking our kids on unforgettable trips across Europe and America. Along the way, we discovered the magic of staying in unique and welcoming Airbnbs.
A Leap of Faith
In June 2021, amidst the uncertainty of the Covid-19 pandemic, we made a bold decision. We purchased Bella Cosa, transitioning from avid travellers to hosts. It was a challenging time, but our passion for hospitality and our desire to introduce others to the wonders of the Fleurieu Peninsula kept us motivated.
