The Cottage was a homely place where you can relax or travel short distance to wineries, cafe’s and restaurants.It was one of the most well supplied places i’ve stayed in,the food was locally sourced, eggs, bread, bacon and milk. Great coffee pods supplied to use the Nesspresso pod machine. We wanted for nothing!

Absolutely stunning place! It was so peaceful and had stunning views of the Forest out the back, have never had such a tranquil shower before. Definitely recommend for a quiet getaway with a partner, or as a home-base for an extended trip in the area!Mel was extremely helpful and provided great recommendations, and getting around was easy enough with Cabs/Ubers if you can’t drive 🙂

We loved our stay, the forest was a bonus, perfect location for access to wineries, breweries and great food. Quiet location, enjoyed the pool and loved the stained glass windows. Our host was easy to communicate with.

Having my friends from the UK visiting Adelaide for the first time the cottage was a perfect place to show them the beautiful McLaren Vale and surrounding beaches. The cottage was beautiful and very homely with the fire in the evening and the outdoor area the perfect place to have breakfast that was included in our stay. Would definitely recommend a stay and a very reasonable price. Loved it! Thank you Mel ❤️

Mel and Craig were great hosts who communicated excellently throughout our experience with them, both before and during our stay. The place was very clean with clear and relevant instructions and local recommendations provided for our stay. I would recommend Mel and Craig as hosts for anyone considering them.

The accommodation was beautiful. Unfortunately, it was too cold to use the pool, but there was a cosy combustion fire with wood on site to keep us warm. Everything was lovely (even the millipedes haha), thank you. 🙂

Lovely, peaceful location to relax for a few days. The space was perfect with everything as described including the bath with a picture perfect view of a forest. Everything in the McLaren Vale within 10 minutes.

Mel’s place was a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. I was welcomed with a fridge of a hot breakfast provisions, milk, cereal and juice, plus a coffee machine. The loft had the most comfortable bed and the bathroom had beautiful toiletries for use. I never used the pool during my stay, but it is an added bonus on those warm days. Mel was responsive at all times and left local suggestions which I utilised during my stay. A definite must stay if you are in the McLaren Flat region.

Great location… nice big bathroom with a big bath and shower. Comfortable bed too. Close 5/7 mins drive to great spots! We were there for 5 nights and had a relaxing stay. Thank you!

Mels little Church was gorgeous. Very clean, beautifully fitted out with everything you needed. Great breakfast in the room. Will definitely be back.

Wow! Clearly lots of thought has gone into making this a cosy and functional space. The fully equipped kitchen and the double vanity/shower in the bathroom were functional and very much appreciated, while the elegant details and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pine plantation made the space feel luxurious. Our family stayed in the chapel next door with a pool which was extremely convenient! Not to mention the locally sourced breakfast provisions were delicious. Thanks Mel, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else next time.

Fabulous place to stay, we attended a wedding in the area and stayed 2 nights. Loved having the pool and there are 3 cottages to choose from so we were able to have our relatives stay next door.Great art installations nearby, very quiet, the bed is so comfortable. Very spacious and would certainly stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Chapel. The location was perfect for exploring the area on our e-bikes and having the pool to jump into at the end of the day was the best! Loved sunset with a wine up the hill sitting in the Adirondack chairs. Perfect way to end the day!

Absolutely stunning property. Could not recommend Bella Cosa highly enough. Beautiful, thoughtfully designed and furnished throughout. Even better than the photos. And that bath! We were in town for the Tour Downunder and could not have picked a better location.

This was our second stay at The Chapel, and we loved it just as much as the first. The space is cosy and beautifully set up, and the pool is a real highlight in the hot weather. Communication from Mel was excellent throughout. We would happily stay again.

Very cosy place great for couples or a family of 4 2 rooms one on each side of the house which is great for privacy No laundry in the cottage which was a bit strange staying 4/5 nights laundry would’ve be a great addition to the stay. But we managed. Would stay again 🙂

The Gallery at Bella Cosa is a beautiful space to spend a few nights in the heart of a spectacular wine region. Massive bathroom, fully fitted kitchen and comfortable bed makes it a place you look forward to getting back to after exploring what the region has to offer.

We really loved our stay in The Chapel. It was so clean and tidy, inside and out. It was a wonderful mix of authentic, quirky and modern where it mattered. The private pool and yard and smart tv were a huge plus and the all local produce supplied was such a nice surprise. Have already recommended to others. Thanks Mel.

Lovely old cottage with 2 very comfy king size beds. Mel very responsive as we couldn’t find oven instructions. Lots of kitchen equipment so we cooked some lovely meals. Very handy for local wine tasting at vineyards. We loved Tinlins and could buy wine by the box at very good prices.

We had a lovely stay at Mel’s place and thoroughly enjoyed the pool! Surrounded by so many wineries there was no chance of getting bored! We had the greatest time and will definitely be back!

This is a very lovely property set in a little forest which creates a sense of privacy and tranquility. We stayed here for our first anniversary and it was the perfect location to allow for a balance of quiet with easy access to the wineries and the town of McLaren Vale. Highly recommend this property for those seeking the same. The property has everything you need (well-fitted out kitchen, lovely comfortable lounge space and bed). But the highlight is definitely the amazing bathroom with a bath overlooking the forest and a massive shower space for two.Would definitely stay here again (in winter, to take advantage of the fireplace!)

Great location to lots of locations within a short drive. Very easy check in and a private forest to explore at sunset was lovely. Well worth a walk to find the deck chairs in the forest!

My wife and I had an amazing stay. Lovely, quirky studio with everything you need. Well appointed kitchen and bathroom. The information guide supplied explaining the hidden gems in the region was fantastic. Breakfast provisions were delicious. Mel was extremely proactive, responsive and clear with information. We loved everything about our stay at Bella Cosa. A perfect getaway in McLaren Vale. So many great wineries close by and as cyclists we loved being able to jump on the Shiraz Trail and explore the region.

Our couple getaway was a great way to celebrate our anniversary. The location was great for local wineries, nice restaurants around and some lovely walks. We are looking forward to coming back in the summer so we can use the pool as the pool was too cold at this time of the year. Fully equiped kitchen and bathroom. Lovely soap too! Mel's place is a great location to explore the McLaren Vale area and Fleurieu Peninsula. We had two nights at the Gallery and it is a perfect couples retreat. It is set in peaceful surroundings, spotlessly clean and the bathroom is amazing. The end of August meant it was still a little cold, but so warm and relaxing in the cottage.

Bella Cosa exceeds every expectation! The Gallery is so spacious and well furnished with everything we need. It is near McLaren Vale, 5 min away, and minutes away from great vineyards. Mel and Craig were super responsive when I had a query after check in. This accommodation is one of the highlights of my Adelaide trip. I would recommend highly.

We had a wonderful stay at Bella Rosa. The accomodation was easy to find due to the clear instructions from Mel. The accomodation was excellent. Everything we needed was provided. Comfy, cosy accommodation.

A very pleasant and peaceful spot with good provisions and central to the Southern Vales. Accommodation is well suited to all climate conditions with both indoor and outdoor options.

Amazing space, very close to all the local spots! The view from the bathroom was mesmerising and the space itself was very homey! Definitely will return at a later date. This AirBNB had it all from the views, to a fireplace (no work required might I add!), private and intimate bathroom with his and hers shower and bathtub with full view of the trees above.
