Reviews
- David04 Jan 2024A well thought out, rustic, country style cottage with everything we needed in terms of amenities, very conveniently located between McLaren Vale and McLaren Flat and close to lots of wineries. Mel provided us with a delicious and fresh selection of local produce for breakfast and was a friendly, responsive and helpful host. The courtyard dining area with the fairy lights was particularly enjoyable! Although the kitchen and dining room had a powerful air conditioning unit and the bedrooms had ceiling fans, ventilation could be improved (the back door with the fly screen door was locked closed and jammed, there was no fan in the living room, and no fly screens in all windows except the bedroom). All in all, we had an excellent 3 night getaway. Thank you for a lovely stay!Bianca24 Sep 2023Loved our stay at Bella Cosa! Such a cute cottage with everything you could need. The breakfast provisions were such a lovely addition and made us feel looked after and right at home. Perfect place to explore McClaren Vale from and come home to enjoy a glass of wine around the fire. Would love to visit again 😊Kelly16 Sep 2023A quaint cottage. Lovely inside and amenities were great. Well stocked kitchen. A fantastic supply of breakfast goodies were supplied, which was a very welcomed surprise. Cottage is shared with 2 other properties. Lovely walk through the pine forest with some interesting sculptures. Overall, a lovely stay and a lovely place to stay.
- Morgan03 Apr 2023Cozy, beautiful, and comfortable BnB. Quiet surrounds and interesting pine forest with sculptures throughout. The chairs overlooking the vines were a definite highlight as it made for such a peaceful spot to watch the sunset each evening.
Very comfortable bed, great shower, cozy fireplace, and amazing tasty breakfast items from local sources. Will definitely stay again!Jess21 Feb 2023Tuscan cottage between the vines.
The interior is styled in a cosy French farm house style and a comfy outdoor area that makes you wish you were cooking a feast or an outdoor lounge to enjoy a cheese platter and some wine.
Mel provided us with a fabulous breakfast, amazing coffee and hot chocolate - enough for all of us to have two cups daily!

It was extremely comfortable, well equipped and the perfect place to visit wineries.
The beds were very comfortable.
The breakfast provisions were generous and there was pod coffee or plunger coffee.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. - Stephanie20 Jan 2022The Cottage is a lovely and affordable home, located next to a pine forest where you can enjoy a pleasant morning or afternoon walk. A great location to stay for a group of friends or family. A lot to do nearby, in the stunning McLaren Vale region. All the wineries are extremely close and many eateries are available only a few minutes away. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, and highly recommend a stay at the Cottage.
- Sarah19 Jul 2021Coming from a city apartment the chance to spend time in the cottage, in the country air and so close to wineries and dine-reies was much appreciated. Clean, warm in the middle of winter and great no stress comms from Mel when we had a power outage by way of stormy weather. Many thanks to Mel.
